Topic "All You Need to Know About PMI Certifications" A Panel Discussion hosted by Ephraim Osaghae

Hear from experienced practitioners as they share their stories on how PMI Certifications have given them the edge to succeed and excel in their professional growth, careers and businesses.

PMI certifications include:  Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Program Management Professional (PgMP)®,Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)®, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®, PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)®, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)®, and PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)®

This panel will highlight how these globally-recognised certifications have enhanced their professional development as well as capacity to successfully contribute to projects, organisations, industries and communities.

There shall be adequate time for questions and answers. Members of the panel will also hang around after the session to provide further guidance where necessary.

Ephraim is PMI-certified business analysis and project management professional with over 27 years working experience in projects in Australia, USA, UK, Middle-East and Africa. Ephraim is also a certified trainer and has provided services to universities, industries and community groups. He is a principal consultant at Tri-W Pty Ltd and Founder / COO of Aus-Professional-Bridge (APB).

Steve Harris BA Msc PMP MSP PgMP

Steve is a Program Manager for CSC a large multi-national systems integrator and IT services provider. During 24 years as a project manager and program manager, he has led sales, pre-sales and business development initiatives in both CSC UK and CSC Australia. He has industry knowledge having worked in the insurance, health, utilities, public sector, finance and automotive sectors. He has off-shoring management experience with both India (Chennai) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh). He also has significant global experience having worked in, and lived in, France, Ireland, Canada, and Australia and having run programs in Australia, Europe, and North America.

Pete is an Agile Practitioner, Trainer and Facilitator with over 15 years experience in different sectors. He has successfully implemented projects in various organisations and in different continents of the world, with successful end-to-end training development, consulting, quality governance, policy advise, organisational improvement and competence evaluation. Pete has several agile and waterfall certifications including PMI-ACP, PMP, CSP, CSM, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Six Sigma and ITIL.

Alta is a PMP and business consultant with more than 30 yrs. experience in government, major corporations and universities across Africa, the UK and Australia.  She has held executive positions and have implemented multiple large-scale ERP and disaster recovery projects in government, financial institutions and major universities.  She has a track record of adding shareholder value by assertive responsible decision making across challenging logistics, commercial and geographic scenarios.  She is currently a director of the Caridon Group that specialises in business process improvement, ISO management systems implementation and training.  She is also an MBCI and the WA representative on the Board of the Australasian Chapter of the BCI (Business Continuity Institute).  She holds certifications in ISO9001, ISO21500, ISO22301 and ISO27032.

Salman Farsi BE, PfMP, PgMP, PMP, RMP, IENG

Salman has over 16 years working experience in the construction and infrastructure industries, with latest position as Operation and Cost Control Manager with Sharqawi Company, Saudi Arabia. He has trained many Managers, Engineers and entire teams to achieved great heights in their careers. He is one of only 220 professionals globally (as of March 2015) that have PfMP, PgMP, PMP and RMP certifications. He is also a qualified Prince2, Incorporated Engineer, Six Sigma green and Six Sigma Black Belt holder. Salman has delivered projects in excess of $100 million including high-rise residential buildings, hotels, airports, hospitals, rail and petrochemicals, and has closely worked with majors like BuroHappold, UNESCO, Atkins, Fluor and Saudi Aramco.
