Research has shown that an authentic management style leads to better outcomes: higher productivity, more ethical behaviors, better retention and more. But what is authentic management? This talk is a step by step real world guide to how stakeholders perceive authenticity.
Dr. Nathalie Collins is the Academic Director (National programs) at Edith Cowan University. She currently manages ECU’s Melbourne and Sydney locations, The School of Business and Law in Bunbury, and coordinates international student mobility. She has been a project manager for the last decade, focusing on internal entrepreneurial projects, in domestic and international markets. Her areas of research are about emotional and attachment in the workplace. She has researched and published in the areas of authenticity in the workplace; but just as importantly, she has lived it.
Flus is in the center of Perth at 191 St Georges Terrace and is accessible using most of Perth's public transport. Flux is near the Perth Convention center offering multiple car parking options.
We would also like to invite you to attend PMI Toastmasters, which meets immediately before the Chapter Meeting servicing the local community of project managers in Perth. Good leaders are good communicators. In Toastmasters you will improve your speaking skills and develop leadership abilities in order to become a better leader.
