The future of culture is the future of work. If Culture really ate strategy for breakfast – What is for dinner?

  • Do you have bored, disengaged or unhappy team members?
  • Is employee turnover higher than normal?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you are not alone. 

The idea that culture is the strategy of the next decade is echoed through the totally unique GLOBAL research into culture. In order to bring this to real-world pragmatism, Rael has conducted in excess of 80 interviews in 25 countries with companies. These interviews look at the drivers of cultures, both good and bad, as well as the drivers of the future of work and the future of culture. How these organizations are setting themselves up for the next decade and beyond, and how they are creating the future of culture and the future of work are significant elements of this keynote.

In this keynote will you will understand how to create a rich and robust culture as a cornerstone of excellence. You will be provided a truly global perspective on the impact of culture through more than 80 global Interviews with multiple companies spanning over 25 countries. You will learn about organizations that have succeeded (and failed) to create great cultures. You will understand the global trends for the future of work and the future of culture in the organizations

This keynote showcases the learning of those experiences to help organizations develop their culture of excellence. Participants will be inspired to drive their organizations to even greater and richer cultures with shared purpose and values to bind the team members.

At the end of this keynote, you will be able to

  • Understand rich and robust cultures versus toxic and destructive cultures.
  • Develop a plan to implement the ideal culture.
  • Create a measurement culture identifying disengagement and other non-financial indicators.
  • Implement sustainable strategies for the future of work

 

The content is relevant to team members at all organizational levels. Team members throughout the organization need to be able to “buy-in” to the development of rich and robust culture and a culture of business excellence

Biography

With strong backgrounds in business (MBA) and technology (MSc (Software Engineering)), Rael works with organisations to look beyond the technology at developing sustainable organizations with robust cultures. This background makes Rael uniquely placed to speak at conferences with a strong technical element, whilst being the “tech guy” speaking about non-technical “stuff”

From being 6000ft underground to starting an education business (that grew to have 4000 plus students) to spending years working in venture capital, Rael has seen it all. He's listed companies on two international stock exchanges, and his financial services group has settled more than $3bn in loans over 18 years. Rael has a diverse work history combined with his unique global research interviews with companies in more than 25 countries. This makes him perfect to present keynotes on growing and achieving business excellence as he has experienced the rollercoaster himself.

With over 30 years of experience in organizations and as a serial entrepreneur, Rael Bricker helps businesses succeed by delivering a series of dynamic presentations on building rich and robust cultures.  Rael has been presenting for many years on business, culture, finance and investing and the learning is best practice combined with practical experience to achieve excellence.

Participants have found inspiration in the simple, practical approaches to cultural challenges.  The future of work is influenced by the future of culture. Participants are challenged to strip their corporate culture to essential blocks needed to build the workforce of tomorrow.

Rael Bricker holds two Masters degrees, an MBA and MSc (Engineering) and is currently a Fellow of the MFAA. (Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia), a Professional Member of PSA (Professional Speakers Australia) and a Member of AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors). Additionally, Rael is a Mentor with Mentored With Mark Bouris and the author of “Dive In – Lessons learnt since business school”.
