Productivity isn’t about how much you produce, it’s about how much you accomplish. This presenation will leave you with practical takeaways, including:

  • What it means to work smart,
  • How to tame distractions,
  • How to work on your highest-leverage tasks,
  • Using GPS for effective delegation,
  • The three most effective ways to become more productive,

When it comes to focusing at work there is no shortage of scapegoats to blame for our wandering minds: notifications, meetings, the ever-churning news cycle, emails or chats with colleagues. But one cause of frequent distraction we don’t often consider is ourselves.

Research shows that we check our email about 88 times during an average workday or 11 times every hour. Combine that with the fact that it takes about 22 minutes to get back on track after an interruption, and it’s a wonder we get anything done. Our attention has never been as in-demand as it is today, and the onus is on us to choose what we focus on.

Research has found that highly productive people carefully manage three specific things each day to be more productive in a distracted world: their attention, energy and then their time.

Most people make the mistake of thinking productivity is about fitting more into your schedule, but it’s about deciding how to do fewer things better. This presentation will change how you think about your productivity and how you approach what needs to be done on a daily basis.
