Communicating Honestly is one of the key elements of high-performance teams and effective workplace engagement. Project managers are constantly juggling the competing expectations of the different stakeholders.
There are times when project managers need to take the lead and be assertive. Taking the lead means being prepared to be accountable and to speak up and have the difficult conversations while being prepared to listen to the diverse perspectives of the other stakeholders.
In this presentation Violet will provide a deeper understanding on how to communicate effectively by covering the following:
- How to prepare for a difficult conversation, mindset, timing and location.
- How to stay calm when you’re under pressure and deal with your emotions and other people’s emotions.
- How to influence the conversation with your nonverbal communication.
At the end of this session, participants will have the tools:
- to prepare for an honest & difficult conversation.
- to assist them to stay calm when they are under pressure.
- to re assess their non-verbal communication.
